PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme provides systematic Quranic memorization with techniques and proper recitation of the Quran for children aged between 4 and 6 years old.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Aims to inculcate the love of the Quran amongst children

• To offer one of the simple ways to learn the Quran

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES

• Student will be able to memorize a total of 38 surah after the 3 years programme (daily classes)

• Student will be able to memorize a total of 24 surah after the 2 years programme (weekly classes)

• Student will be able to read the Quran fluently with precise tajweed

LEARNING METHODS

• Use of the Talqeen method throughout the book. Talqeen method (teacher reads and student repeats) is the best known method to develop proper pronunciation and fluency in the reading.

• To be effective, the following rules must be adhered to by students: listening, repeating and reading.

• Introducing at least one verse per day to memorize

• Group and one-to-one session

• Daily revision

• None or little knowledge of Quran reading

• Within 4 to 6 years old
